Michael de la Maza is the author of the book Why Agile Works and one of fewer than 100 Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coaches (CEC). He has a PhD in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from MIT, is a Techstars mentor and angel investor, and recently re-located to San Francisco to be closer to where the future is being created.
Laura M. Powers has over 25 years of engineering and management experience in Silicon Valley startups and enterprise corporations. As the founder of Powered By Teams, she helps teams create extraordinary results and exponential success while experiencing fun & joy with Agile & serious games. She holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, as well as certifications as a CSP, CSM, CSPO, Certified Trainer of Training from the Back of the Room, and Certified Trainer and Master Practitioner of NLP.
Timothy W. Silk is a veteran technology consultant who builds operational processes and facilitates team collaboration for clients in the non-profit, education, and worker-ownership sectors. He recently earned his Professional Scrum Master certification, and is excited to add Agile to his repertoire.
